PTSA-funded Artist in Residence Program with Chesapeake Shakespeare Co.

On April 25, Sligo began its inaugural PTSA-funded Artist in Residence Program with Chesapeake Shakespeare Company.  Shakespeare is part of the required MCPS curriculum in 6th, 7th, 8th grade, and beyond.  This program introduces our students to Shakespeare’s plays, history, and language through performances and in-class workshops.  Every Sligo student will see a performance at a school assembly. … Continue reading
