Montgomery County Public Schools, especially the Parent Outreach Committee of the Office of Special Education, will hold its 4th Annual Special Education Summit – Leading the Way Today…Partnering a Better Tomorrow – on Saturday, April 22, 2017. The summit will be from 8:15 am to 1:00 pm at Walter Johnson High School, located at 6400 Rock Spring Drive in Bethesda, MD.
This summit is for parents, guardians, educators and community partners – and will be provided free of cost. Childcare, a light breakfast, and interpretation services will be provided.
The purpose of the summit is to provide an opportunity for families to engage with each other, with MCPS staff members, and community partners. The summit will also include motivational presentations and over 30 workshops on topics related to parent children with disabilities.
